Let's hope this time it ends up in the hands of somebody who values its importance and traditions.
Unlike someone who would do something like sanction the fielding of weakened teams in it.
We can be sure it won't go to a Johnny Foreigner, what with that being a big "no no" for Gold in the first place.

Is selling the prized FA CUP for about a million a ploy by Gold to make out tough times, or are they actually in financial shit in businesses unrelated to West Ham, knowing that they cant be skimming loans for longer and will have to declare the books and finances to a buyer...

Hammers United on a good path, keep the pressure on and help them increase the membership.
Jacob Steinberg in the Guardian and Alan’s Wednesday newspapers saying the pressure is working in the favour of the American buy out.
“But the bidders believe that Gold, Sullivan and Karren Brady, the club’s vice-chair, could be under greater pressure if West Ham’s results are poor in the next month. I hang my head in shame that I ever thought that GSB were the saviours of our great club.
It is now crystal clear to anyone that follows West Ham that this board of directors are going to go on a selling spree, Rice is next, and then bail as our club hurtles towards the Championship. These lying bastards are going to take the money and run so it begs the question...who would buy the mess they leave behind?

In case anyone missed this from chav_corner a fellow hammer from Luton with cerebral palsy on a mobility scooter goes on his tod to protest GSB out. Fucking hell, with that determination in one person, imagine 20,000 out of a mobility scooter with the same tenacity.
****CHAV***The thing that stays in my mind most though was that I met a fella called George who came up and introduced himself.George came all the way from Luton on his own to make his individual protest against the Board.He came on his mobility scooter by public transport,he has cerebral palsy.
He had to change twice on the tube and god only knows how he negotiated St Pancras and Luton stations late at night.To see the effort he made was truly inspiring.-All to stand up for the club he loves.
George showed me last night that the West Ham fans will win the fight to get our club back.With him on the team surely we cannot lose.Thanks mate,it was a great privilege to meet you.******

This has probably already been thought of by people more knowledgeable than me, but isn't there a case for legal action, or a class action lawsuit against our parasite owners?
The lies, broken promises, false advertising, etc.
Is there a fan, or someone friendly with a lawyer who could launch this pro bono? Or if every one chipped in a tenner to get this started?
I'm all for the protests and marches, but wonder how far they will get us while games are played without fans present.
Even if it failed it could generate a lot more negative publicity for these cunts and hopefully cause them considerable discomfort.

10 years of abject failure, Pat. They got lucky with the Payet season, but apart from that blip, we’ve generally been worried about relegation until late into the season most years since selling our home to reach this next level.
The buck stops at the owners throats.
